I bought this converter after reading many reviews. I had no problems, the installation was very easy (my Mac doesn't have a CD player, so I downloaded the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website). The recording management software is quite complete and there are multiple formats of video and audio to compress. The registration process is very simple and intuitive, absolutely not energy consuming for the computer (I was able to duplicate 4 VHS for 2 hours each without ever booting the Mac). Ultimately, this is a great product that I would recommend to anyone who needs to preserve memories for a long time.
