Review on πŸ”ͺ Mueller Professional Electric Knife Sharpener - Straight Knives with Diamond Abrasives - Fast Sharpening, Repairs/Restores/Polishes Blades by Regina Coleman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Pretty average, not professional at all

PROS: - beautiful; - stable and compact; - easy to handle; - collects dust from the grinding wheel; - printed manual with manual. - Sharpen like any budget consumer good. Don't expect PRO results; - low power, 38 watts; - very rapid overheating. You can't even finish a chef's knife, starting with the blunt stage. Then you have to wait 20 minutes to cool down. Extremely annoying! What does Heavy Duty or PROFESSIONAL have to do with it?! - Durability is questionable; - the grinding wheel looks irreplaceable. Again not PRO. - It is unclear if the angle is 20 or 15 degrees. Although you can play a bit on the left/right side of the gap. RESOLUTION Good, nice consumer product with a poor sharpening result. If you don't want to cut yourself and have your knives (preferably soft metal) sharp at the beginning of the cutting performance and then this might be for you. But for the serious and pros who cut professional knives on a daily basis and need a light cutting sharpness, there's nothing here.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Long wait
