🔪 Mueller Professional Electric Knife Sharpener - Straight Knives with Diamond Abrasives - Fast Sharpening, Repairs/Restores/Polishes Blades Review

This sharpener has breathed new life into my knife set. I was ready to buy all new knives after trying other methods to sharpen my blades. I don't have any of the high quality sets for a few hundred bucks, but the set is good enough so I decided to be a little more aggressive. I'm glad I did. In 5 minutes I sharpened the entire set and all knives like new again. An excellent investment, even for one-time use.

Bought for use in my small commercial kitchen - it's easy, the angles seem right and it does everything well for a few drinks I'm still looking for the perfect sharpener where the knife is stationary and the grinder moves the blade up and down to fine tune the full length of the blade, but until then this one works well and takes up a little less space and the tray for cleaning - a nice touch.

This sharpener felt a little sticky the first time you used it until you found the right angle and pull on the blade. It may have left me too sketchy to run through my Henckels, but it certainly did a masterful job with my 8-inch and 10-inch chef's knives. Honestly I don't know, maybe I'm doing something wrong, it feels like the grinder inside is kinda wrong compared to the grooves on the unit. I have reviewed several knife sharpeners and chose this one mainly because it is made in "Austria” which I believe offers a higher quality than the brand made in China.
