Review on 🔪 Mueller Professional Electric Knife Sharpener - Straight Knives with Diamond Abrasives - Fast Sharpening, Repairs/Restores/Polishes Blades by Jessica Nunez

Sturdy design for kitchen and dining room

I have reviewed several knife sharpeners and chose this one mainly because it is made in "Austria” which I believe offers a higher quality than the brand made in China. It's well made in many ways, but doesn't have the performance I need. It turns off with a light load. This is good for light sharpening, but not if you want to make multiple knives in a row. There is a thermal protector that shuts off the motor to prevent overheating that occurs after sharpening some knives. You must then wait for the engine to cool before resuming operation. I only recommend this sharpener to those who only want to make 3 or 4 knives at a time and have little need for sharpening. Now I want to buy a stronger sharpener. This is my first electric sharpener, so far I've used the sharpening stone by hand. I'll try to use this for a while and I'll have to get used to working slowly and with only a few knives at a time. I found the second sharpening to be better than the first as the angle was better set on each knife. But engine oversteer is still a pain and a nuisance, the engine overheats too quickly.
