Nice colors BUT NOT stretchy

I tested this crepe paper to see if there were any projects it would work for. I have been making crepe paper flowers for many years and I can say that this crepe paper is not suitable for some crepe paper flower projects. On the one hand, it has no stretch. There is a technique called "cupping" where you stretch the petal to give it the shape of a petal. This paper is simply stretched to about 10% longer than the original length. As soon as the paper is stretched, the vertical corrugation also disappears. The weight of the paper is about 80 grams, it is a light crepe paper. For projects that use thin stripes, like chrysanthemums or spider lilies, this is fine. 4 colors only - cream, 2 shades of antique rose and copper. It should be noted that copper paper is only one-sided. The other side is white. Interestingly, the paper is colourfast. I soaked the paper in water and the ink didn't come off. It is NOT waterproof. I get 5 stars for extra large event flowers and 1 star for delicate paper flowers. Cut into strips also suitable for wrapping gifts, confetti and streamers. The price is not low for 8 pieces. Again, remember that it has very little stretch.

Pros
  • Doily and crepe paper type
Cons
  • I don't remember
