The product worked well on old machines that I repaired. I would use it again. Workshop forge tables and pipes clean very well. I think the product serves better as a rust inhibitor than wd 40. I'll update if I come across any caked heavy metal on the next car. Updated 09.11.15. I have an old mill from the 50s, the table rusted evenly after soaking for 2 days and wiping it lightly with a hygienic cloth, the rust is coming off. The top is very pretty. The rust has turned into a sludge and disappears with every remove and reapply. What would improve the product would be a gel version of the liquid so it's less likely to run away from you. Sometimes you need it to function and sometimes you want it to just sit there.
