We have never used our rear glass sunroof in 10 years because 1 shock absorber stuck and blocked the sunroof to open. But I want to use this rear glass sunroof and see the BOXI supports here. Removing the old shock absorbers was very easy. Each end of the ball has a notch in the plastic that sits under a metal band that wraps around the end of the ball. Simply take the tip of the small flat head, insert it into this notch under the metal strip and turn the flat head sideways and lift it up a bit. The band is elastic and falls out. To fit new shocks, simply place the end of the shock over the balls and press down. With new shock absorbers, the metal strip does not have to be removed. Super easy and the product works great!
