I received the 10 cup version of the vacuum jug. It makes good coffee and the coffee stays hot in the carafe for hours, which is great for people like me who drink coffee all day. I like (almost) everything about it. I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4 but my only complaint is that there are 3 inverted triangle holes on the back. The bottom hole is 10 cups below the water fill line. So if you add water up to the line, it will flow down the back of the machine, right where the power cord meets the machine. To prevent this, you can only fill the water up to about 9.5 glasses of water. This is disappointing as this hole appears to have no functional purpose, so is just a design flaw.
