Best not recommended in hair accessories

The info says these clips are resin but they are actually colored, when they arrived I sterilized them with ordinary alcohol (to prevent anything , which is related to Covid) and they started to stick and the paint was peeling and staining hands. The paint doesn't come off with soap, the clips were damaged and I'm not sure what resin they are made of, but I always clean other clips I already have, sunglasses and other things with regular rubbing alcohol and it happens nothing, in this case I had to throw them away, total waste.
