Review on ๐ŸŽถ U-Turn Audio Orbit Special Turntable: Exquisite Sound with Walnut Finish by Shalom Germann

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy setup, amazing aesthetics,

It was a tough choice between this and the Fluance RT85. Below I will list the notable differences for anyone pondering which one to buy. RT85 Pros: Standard Blue Cassette Cassette Auto-lift when recording is complete RT85 Cons: Thick, high-gloss wood-look base. That's subjective, but it seems distasteful to me. Looks great and feels great. Assembled in the USA by an American company. Particular cons of Orbit: Default red cartridge (can be configured on their website to use blue or upgrade later) No automatic lift when recording is finished. For me, the solid walnut wood, great aesthetics, and support from the American company outweigh the fact that the turntable doesn't have an auto-lift function. In fact, a big part of the reason I bought the turntable is its elegant simplicity. As I thought about it, I realized that the functionality isn't what I need or don't even really need. I am very happy with my decision. Everything arrived well packaged and assembly was quick. I would recommend this turntable to anyone on a $500 budget.
