Originally bought for my Xbox One S, then reformatted and used for my PS4 Pro after a console swap. It worked great on both consoles with no major issues while using it. It was a bit easier to set up on my PS4 than my Xbox, although I'm not sure if that was just my personal experience. When I connected it to my Xbox I had a bit of a hard time figuring out how to find it and after learning how to do it I found that my Xbox didn't recognize it. The Xbox also told me that if I put it to sleep and then turned it back on, it would keep reconnecting to the HD. I also had to set everything up manually for installation as the console kept telling me I was out of usable memory. After unplugging and plugging it back in a few times, it was up and running again in just a few minutes. When I connected it to my PS4, the console automatically recognized it and opened a page asking if I wanted to format it. It formatted very quickly and immediately started storing all the content on the device.
