Well, what can I say, but this gadget is cheap, easy to install and works. I have a fridge freezer in the basement that is a year old but when you close the fridge door the freezer opens and doesn't keep closing. We're not in the laundry room enough to notice, so we solved the problem with this little trick without too much fuss. The latch only prevents the door from opening too far for the magnetic seal to close on its own. And it is very easy to open the latch with your thumb and open the freezer. Simple design, easy to use but effective. Requires no electricity, batteries, Wi-Fi, charging or app.
