You may need to bake this material to really make it stick as strongly as intended. What can I say, holds up very well. I used to put pan head screws in threaded hex connectors. They went through bolts in the heads to hold the valve covers. Creates a nice, clean look that no one else has. At least so far. I was able to twist my creation slightly (valve covers don't take much force) and then remove them as well. So far the Red Thread Lock is holding up well. To test the strength of the red Permatex I used a 10mm wrench on the hex and a hex wrench on the pan head screw. No heat and only a grumble, I could see the details quite well. BUT it seems to be doing what I wanted. Proof in a few months when I have to take the valve covers off to adjust the valves. crossed fingers. haha
