We looked at the many electric siphon pumps available and selected this pump because of its good rating and relatively low price for the features it claimed. "Cheap" - but once the batteries were installed and the unit plugged into a 5 gallon petrol can to pump into the generator, it proved excellent. I've been using it for more than six months and as soon as I change the batteries the device pumps out. For example, the function to switch off automatically when the tank is full – like at a gas station. Will order another one to have on hand if/when this one breaks. I recommend
