Review on πŸ—Ώ Medium Stone - Spyderco Double Stuff by Tarrance Man

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bought for field sharpening. It's so good that I use it at home too.

This is an amazing whetstone. Light enough to carry around in a camping/camping backpack along with a mini belt, but good enough that I use it to quickly sharpen our kitchen knives at home when I'm not in the mood, the Ken Onion Work Sharp and just one of these to take Two knives need to be repaired. The pouch is leather and can be used as a mini-harness if needed (and that works too), although I ended up buying a separate larger mini-harness for easier and more convenient use in the field as I tend to carry a couple sometimes stone between the sharpening points. I don't use water with the stone, I use it dry and it always leaves hair razor blades on my camping, kitchen and EDC blades (I've used it on high carbon steel). camping knives and axes, as well as 440C, VG-10, Sandvik 154CM and CTS XHP stainless steel blades, and several Swiss Army knives). For harder steels, I prefer diamond stones as they are faster than ceramic and Arkansas stone, but this stone can work in a pinch, it just lasts longer. This is a great stone and I would buy it again.
