I have been doing cosmetics for many years and actually I have a company that makes and sells all kinds of goods from beeswax, so I can say without a doubt that it is NOT BEESWAX. It smells, looks and feels like paraffin or some other chemical wax. The bag says it's organic, but there's no information about the company, so there's no way of knowing. The smell is very strong chemical and doesn't smell natural at all. The photo shows the wax after it has been melted and cooled. the beautiful light white and milky appearance is our regular beeswax and the other is this dubious product. normal wax. This is another key clue that it's not beeswax, as it has a much higher melting point, so it's definitely some kind of wax by-product. For now I'm sticking with it, but I definitely won't be using it in any of our products.
