I bought a Ryzen 3200G processor that came with AMD's proprietary Wraith CPU cooler, but it didn't work very well. The stock CPU cooler fan barely moved when the PC was used to surf the web, check email, play music, watch movies, or use a word processor. However, the fan kept moving while playing on the PC, but it seemed difficult to spin, and never spins all the time. I purchased a PCcooler SF90 premium CPU cooler to replace the Wraith cooler, but installing it proved a daunting task. The company's instructions on Revain's website state that the included bracket is not needed to install the PCcooler on an AMD 4 motherboard, but I've found that you need a bracket when securely mounting the cooler to the motherboard want. Without the bracket, the cooler would sit on top of the CPU and only hold it in place by its own weight and thermal paste, which of course wouldn't prevent the cooler from slipping off the CPU. Unfortunately, the company's instructions for the included mount were misleading. They stated that the included bracket is not needed to install the AMD 4 and specifically stated that you can install the cooler without the bracket. But the real truth is, as I said above, if you don't want your cooler to fall out of place, you need a mount. Secondly, it's not that the included bracket is not needed, it's that the included bracket is not compatible with the AMD 4 motherboard. The four mounting holes of the included bracket do not match the mounting holes of the motherboard CPU bracket mounting plate. However, I was determined to find a way to use the included bracket as I didn't want to put off installing my new cooler by looking for a compatible bracket. I was able to line up the bracket's two mounting holes with the two holes in the motherboard CPU mounting plate where the cooler should be mounted at an angle to the PC's rear I/O inlets, but I was unable to use the bracket's mounting hardware because the fasteners were too big for the CPU mounting plate holes on the motherboard. Luckily I had a couple of screws holding the motherboard to the PC case and I was able to use them. The best way to install the bracket and cooler is to remove the motherboard from the PC case, otherwise you will have a hell of a time to install these items in the limited space of the PC case. This is especially true when attaching the radiator clips to the bracket, which requires little force to secure. If you can handle the installation issues, a cooler might be for you. The price is right and if the cooler works without problems then I consider it a good buy. I haven't had a chance to test it in gaming conditions yet and haven't had enough time to make sure it's reliable. I'll post an update after using it for a bit.
