I want kitchen scale manufacturers to stop worrying about battery life if we don't turn off the scale! What other battery powered device do you have that shuts itself off? Ridiculous. The first scale manufacturer to drop this "feature” gets all the market share. Pros: Easy to clean. Poorly. If you have something on the scale and it turns off, you cannot continue what you were doing without first removing the tray from the scale before putting it back on. If you don't remove it, you'll get an error message when it's re-enabled. Big annoyance! Also, it's slowly coming back. So what should have been a hassle-free process (add ingredient/tare/add ingredient/tare) becomes this: hurry up before it starts, or tap on it to keep it awake while you try to add a new ingredient . Not impressed.
