I hate to give this product a low review but from the product demo video and other images they appear to be larger than they really are. In the videos and pictures, the instruments are presented in thicknesses from 1/2 to 9/16 inches. (12mm-14mm) They are not. They are 10mm-3/8" thick. Need a larger size for lathes over 8" or hardwood. Another issue is that very few sizes are listed in critical dimensions in advertisements. I have sizes for carbide inserts from another Found a brand that looks exactly like the brand I bought and to find a replacement you have to search the internet for sizes and brands Why not include the set in the recommended buys section on the product page? I would buy two sets already however speaking of these issues let me describe tools based on actual performance for a SMALL carbide tool set they work very well they are sharp durable (on smaller pieces of wood) like crazy carved come in a very nice storage box/case and are very functional I would recommend this set but advise the buyer on the size the square edges were a bit sharp so to my liking I sanded each corner a bit to get rid of the corner nicks on the tool rest.
