The machine does a pretty decent job when it comes to slicing meat. The problem I have with this machine is that the screws to open the box for cleaning a very difficult and tedious. This leads to you handling the machine with your hands too much which leads you cutting your hands.This is not a machine that you should allow staff to use because there are far too many ways to get hurt with it. I also recommend you have some sort of tool that you use in case you have to pull meat out from underneath the shoot.These blades will slice right through a towel they will slice right through anything that you try to use to protect your hand. The bottom line is keep your hand the hell out of there.Of the several times that I did cut myself it wasn't near the blades it was actually on the outside of the unit trying to pick it up. The metal is very thin and if you run your hand or move your hand too fast while picking it up it will slice you
