Bought this box in stock to cover some snap rings around the house. They get the job done but aren't very "springy" like regular snap rings/circlips. Instead, they're very stiff and need to be bent to fit the appropriate part, which means they have to be bent back once they're in place - they don't just spring back to their original shape. With smaller rings this is quite difficult, even with a tool like needle nose pliers. I've had more than a few that got into the atmosphere in the process.
