given that the $ is much better than expected
My Porter 3"x 21" cable boldly dropped the drive after 7 years of heavy and daily use; I always thought I liked his heavy metal body. I chose this type because I could use my current stock of belt sizes and the shipping was fast, relatively cheap and had good reviews (I've never heard of this brand before). I finished my project's medium to fine sanding (using a recycled old slip) in short order before switching to my occasional orbital, finish, and hand sanding. I started working on the belt as soon as I unpacked it; and uses the manufacturer's finer grain belts. Belt alignment adjustment works flawlessly; and maybe because I'm 70 years old now, I really like light weight; it gave me control over finer grinds. I've done three woodworking projects and have no regrets; just wish it came with a case, bag or an option for one.
