These blocks are great!
I cut 1 inch thick blocks to use as detergent in kitchen and bathroom. They are not meant to be absorbed. They are firm in the cold but soften when wet with warm water. They smell because they don't hold liquid and they rinse out easily. Over time they wear out to the point that they are no longer suitable for the dishes and after they have gotten so soft I use them to rub my feet in the shower. The quality is good at a decent price and they arrived quickly, they are just perfect for my purposes.
