Review on GE SoftWhite 3-Way Light Bulb 50/100/150 Watt (1 Pack) - Illuminating Versatility and Energy Efficiency by Mike Nix

I am embarrassed to rate this 3 way bulb so poorly and can hardly rate it but after a day of use I only have 1 range left on this 3 way -Pear . I have a feeling this isn't the manufacturer's fault. I took a picture of the packaging because I was expecting the bulb not to work at all, but when I screwed it into the lamp base the bulb worked perfectly - for a day. Since everything worked perfectly at first, I removed the photos of the packaging. The bulb arrived in the regular cardboard and paper box they always sell bulbs in and this bulb was mailed in a padded envelope. :( That's all I can say. A soft case will never protect anything like a lightbulb. I've been using the lightbulb for about 2 weeks now and the 50watt light is still working. Not what I need but it does is something - then.
