It was so nice when something worked without problems on the first try. Headphone jack on a laptop. HDMI was connected to the remaining input (game) on my Onkyo A/V Receiver. The first video I tried was a movie on Netflix. Video @ 16X9 WAS PERFECT. The sound was PERFECT. The laptop desktop was the perfect size. I'm excited about this device. Everything I needed was in one little box. Power is supplied via the laptop's USB port. I forgot to mention that this works with Windows 7. No additional software was required. I don't have to give my email address. I don't have to join anything, I don't need a password. To update. On my Dell laptop, all I have to do is press F8 and select the mode I want. that the purpose of this device is to display video from the computer on a TV with an HDMI input and not vice versa. The device itself is tiny. It packs easily into a laptop bag. I recommend this little device. Best experience in a long time.
