Colors are incredibly vivid and not at all chalky like some of the competition. This set comes closest to the popular Koi watercolors in brightness and price. These water colors were very chalky and some of the colors cracked immediately after use, indicating a high binder content and low pigment content. This does not apply to Artistro watercolors! They are incredibly bright and I love the neon colors which I have never seen in a set. Due to the incredible range of colors and accessories it comes with, it's a must-have for any artist looking for a solid travel kit, or a general store for anyone looking to pick up a new quarantine hobby. I would recommend this set 10/10 to all my amateur friends and also friends who take their art very seriously!
