Review on ☕ Bialetti Musa Stainless Steel Stovetop Coffee Maker - 6-Cup Capacity (9.2 oz) by David Miller

Poor metal quality, questionable design

Surprised that it has so many good reviews (reason I bought it). This was necessary as my new kitchen doesn't have a gas stove, so I bought an induction stove and like to cook with it; Therefore, you cannot use the old and faithful grandmother's aluminum. Less than two months old but after returning the window when used about twice a day it should already be discarded. Poor Metal Quality: After about a month I noticed a rim on the inside of the water tank. Although it was only coffee that dripped down. Unfortunately it turns out to be rusty. As far as I know, stainless steel shouldn't rust. Up to this point I've hand washed it, decided there was nothing to lose and thrown it in the dishwasher which removed the dirt and left dark stains. So it appears to be dishwasher safe. Unfortunately, the rust keeps coming back. The other ad is about design (wanted to give 4 stars until I found rust). For unknown reasons, it is elongated at the top and tapers towards the opening, making it difficult to reach the bottom even with small hands. At the top of this floor is a channel that collects all the debris, I can't reach that part without a narrow water bottle brush to clean it. I hope you see the evidence in the photos.
