I think this is a great product unlike other oil based lubes. This silicone based lubricant makes it waterproof and ideal for bikes that operate in wet conditions. I removed the wheel bearings and steering column to clean and lubricate them. Citrus-based cleaners do an excellent job of removing regular grease, but don't touch Crystal grease. Very hot water and dish soap can be used to clean silicone grease. Dilute ammonia is also recommended. I've used petrol, but I wouldn't recommend it.
