I've had my Divoom timebox for almost 4 years now and love everything about it. It still works in perfect condition. Since then it has been standing next to my bed as an alarm clock. I buy it to put in my living room. My first impression was the chic high quality box that arrived. Unboxing was a whole different experience. The protection of the packaging felt almost like unpacking the TV. The speaker itself has been made very well with quality materials. The dials for changing animation and volume looked very dated. I wish they were a bit bigger and my big hands couldn't get a good grip on them compared to my timebox's buttons on top of the speaker. All their ports are closed which is a plus. You can still press the power button through the port cover. LEDs and pixels are definitely way better than my timebox. Overall I think this is a very well built speaker considering its size. It's also a great gift as the whole process from unboxing to installing the app gave me a different experience. and with different animations.
