I am working to remove many disposable items from our home. We've been using blue tape sponges for years and I'm tired of swapping them out every few weeks. I decided to try them and they work very well for general dishwashing and surface cleaning. I've thrown them in the washing machine and run them through the dishwasher to clean them and they wash well and hold up great. I can only give four stars because the size of the scrub is not thick enough to scrape baked food off my ceramic plate, pyrex skillet or stainless steel cookware. I use bartenders to clean all of these items so they're sparkling clean, and these sponges can't replace a blue tape scraper. I use one to clean my acrylic tub and appreciate the scrubber because I don't have to worry about it scratching the surface while I'm cleaning the tub. I will be buying more of these to have on hand when the current ones wear out.
