Review on 🔒 Sunlite MX1000 Aluminum Brake Set Rear/Front with Bolts in Black by Jeff Jemison

I recently converted an old road bike to a rigid gear. I wanted to get a new set of brakes for it because the old ones weren't that good because they're very old. The kit contains what is pictured except for a few other bolts that attach to the forks. As the kit says, it's a BMX brake kit, but only in the sense that it looks like a BMX; This kit works on almost every bike I can think of. The reason I bought it was because I was just looking for a front brake kit. It had EVERYTHING I needed to get the job done. I was able to assemble it in about an hour. There were no instructions so if you don't know what to do with the brakes just watch the tutorial on YouTube; That's exactly what I did and I succeeded. The reason I rated it 4 stars was because of the brake pads. I read that they are too soft but I still think that was an understatement. I probably only drove about 2 miles, not even more, and they got shot and I didn't use the brakes much. Maybe they are for competitions or something. Luckily before the rebuild I ordered a set of brakes which are practically new so that wasn't a problem.
