I bought this bag because I really liked it. I was looking for a cute bag with lots of functional pockets to use for travel. The bag is very cute in person and I love the color. Unfortunately, that's where my love for this bag ends. This bag is very difficult to open and close. It's impossible to throw it forward, hold onto it and pull something out. You have to sit on something and open it to access any of the pockets. When the large top flap is closed, only one pocket is available. The pocket is tiny, barely fits anything, even a standard sized wallet. You could probably bring in a pen or two and a small credit card business. This is the kind of bag that you can't load too much in, otherwise you'll have trouble closing it. The valve itself is huge, but it doesn't fit in a pocket. They could easily have added a pocket to give them extra easily accessible space, but instead it's just a piece of fabric and foam. Considering the size of this item, it would be nice to be able to zip up the inside to store a tablet or laptop. The phone would be super secure. The side pockets, which look like they're meant for water bottles, are totally unsuitable for that. I tried putting a small refillable water bottle in this bag but it doesn't fit. You can place a can of soda or a small disposable water bottle. But I haven't tried that. Overall, this bag feels like it was designed for aesthetics and zero functionality. Which seems very odd for a backpack design. I would never use it for travel, it is completely unsuitable for that. The quality of the bag is pretty good. The fabric is pretty thick. The tailoring is well done. If you're looking for something nice and quality and don't plan on using it for anything other than carrying a few things back and forth, then this bag could be for you. Otherwise, if you're looking for something for travel or with some handy features for everyday use, you'll probably stay away.
