I was a bit skeptical that one of these on the corner would be enough to hold the corner down. I figured I might have to glue two of them together to make it heavy enough to hold the corner. But I started one and surprisingly it survived and lay down. The adhesive is strong enough to stick to the backing of the carpet and strong enough to stick to my laminate. One side says the bottom is down, so you have to place them a certain way. This pack contains enough to craft two rugs. If you have a really troublesome rug, you can combine two of these rugs together to make it even heavier in the corners. But right now I have a brand new set of addons just waiting for one of them to stop working. But so far I'm very impressed with them and I recommend them.
