Firstly, Metra will either a) lose money on every sale or b) raise the price to make up for the endless variety of bolts and washers each could have would be a necessity. If you have a Jeep and you don't have these things, you are doing it wrong. Second, the huge holes everyone is complaining about are on the speaker frame, not the adapter. I used them to install Kicker CS 4x6 in my 2006 LJ and everything was fine. The internal mounting holes are to a very tight tolerance but still fit. I decided to mount my speakers with a larger hole but there were washers in my junk box. Since it's plastic, just turn the screw slowly with a trusty screwdriver; I probably wouldn't use a drill or punch. I am very satisfied, I hope you are too.
