This comb seems good, but not one that lasts forever (like goody combs). Although these are longer teeth, they are not far enough apart for me. The ends of the teeth are pointed and lowered to a smaller point that can break over time. For thick hair (4c) you need to detangle it with a shorter comb and then use it (otherwise it may get stuck at the root). It's good for detangling pre-combed hair, but not for those with knots (just to be honest). I wish there was a grip on the handle or something so it wouldn't slip out of my hand with wet hands. The grip isn't the most comfortable for adults/larger hands as I felt I couldn't get a good grip. I know it's $3, but I needed longer teeth, wider tooth spacing, smoother tips (slightly pointed), longer handle, and grip on the handle to make it work. Not a bad comb, just a placeholder until I find a better one. Hope this review helps :)
