Your child may get sick! Poor design leaves multiple open "holes" on the back of this toothbrush. I noticed that a gray-black dirt had built up in the holes, so I set about cleaning it out. Well, after five minutes of hot water and tapping the rim of the sink, that disgusting ridge came out of that toothbrush. Rough. I will not buy these again and I caution you against this - and I hope you will check your children's toothbrushes for similar flaws.
