I ordered a string of these lights and I liked them so much I ordered about 8 more! CONS: The only problem I've had so far is that one garland didn't work at all. Like many of you, I'm too frustrated to return things so I just threw them away. Let's say about 1 in 10 strings don't work and you either have to return them or throw them away. ADVANTAGES: * Copper wire makes it easy to wrap them around anything (vertical poles, trees, railings, etc.) * Solar power means no fuss with running power. Just make sure the solar panel has access to the sun. We have a lot of shade in our backyard, so the panels are likely to get about 2 hours of direct sun per day (in the summer) as long as these lights are on at least a couple of hours after sunset. * The LED lights themselves are tiny (they look like drops of water on a copper wire). Someone will say that this is a minus, someone will say that this is a plus. They're certainly not big enough to provide more than "tuned" light, but that's great for our patio.
