The solar garland was "as advertised" for me. I bought these solar string lights to place outside in front of my house where I recently did some landscaping. I placed the light on the back of a small block aligning the area I filled with rocks around some of the plants. I wanted to wrap the trunks of the pygmies and these little lights are so easy to wrap that they disappear during the day but when the sun goes down they get bright. Fantastic for what I needed. I was looking for a solar powered low light source for my chicken coop. Some of my birds are procrastinators and will stay outside until dark (and sometimes even longer). They then have trouble finding perches and empty spots when they find them.
