Review on 🔧 FEL-PRO HS 26170 PT-1 Head Gasket Set: Superior Quality and Reliable Performance by Timothy Weems

I bought this kit as part of an engine transplant for a 2002 Subaru with a 2.5 liter engine. I haven't had a chance to judge the quality of the parts, but Fel-Pro is a respected brand and after a few hundred miles it's fine. The head gaskets in the kit are laminated steel (MLS) and my research has shown that they are an upgrade from the OEM gaskets that came with this year's Subaru, which sometimes causes problems. All of the components I used (head gaskets, intake and exhaust valve gaskets, rocker cover gaskets and bushings, valve parts (used in the body shop for head repairs) fit well and appeared quality. There were a few parts (throttle body gaskets, injector seals) that I recognized , but unused, and others I didn't recognize, so I keep a small stock of unused parts It's possible these kits are for professional mechanics who probably know what all the parts are for, but I wouldn't Would appreciate some identification information.My overall impression is that the kit contains all the gaskets needed for a complete engine gasket.I was pleased with the completeness, fit and price of this kit.
