Review on NiteRider Lumina Handlebar Mount 35Mm by Alex May

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Better than the one with the light; Light rails still break

This mount used to come with light until it was changed to a rubber mount. The rubber mount will slip when you ride rough terrain no matter how hard you try to tighten it and the light shines down. This mount doesn't have that problem as it attaches more securely to the bars. The problem with this mount is that it's quite clumsy and awkward to remove when you're not using the flashlight. I'm also not sure if it's the light or the mount, but the rails that hold the light to the mount tend to break after driving on rough roads and the light will fall off. Usually on a fast descent. The Nightrider is happy to replace the body for free, but the lighting and mount needs better design to prevent this.
