Review on 🏌️ Polara Anti-Slice Golf Balls - Self-Correcting Design to Reduce Hooks and Slices, Perfect Combination of Performance and Enjoyment! by Sean Patel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great ball for most weekend golfers!

I have a hard 7 HDCP (and could do better if I had time) so this isn't really for me. I confirm they work as advertised, I see them straighten or fade the intended pattern. And I don't see any real difference between them and my average player (B330) in terms of distance. Not a very good greenside and they are too "heavy" to hit. But I try to be perfect in those areas and most people won't notice the difference. But they're GREAT for the guys I usually play with - and I've given away at least a dozen already. Here's the situation: I play golf alone a lot when I travel. Usually spas and pretty nice courses. It's VERY frustrating playing with a bunch of guys who couldn't get onto the fairway sober, especially with a few beers. After the first 4 or 5 holes of helping find balls in the rough, if it's obvious they aren't serious, I'll hand them out and explain that they're "not USGA approved" but"will help". The look on their faces after hitting the fairway for the next 6 or 7 holes is priceless. And now I can spend more time on the fairway playing my game instead of looking for a lost ball. You can't use them for tournaments or posting a handicap, but it saves a lot of frustration for the weekend golfer. And I think over 85% of golfers just want to "keep up" with other golfers or try to stay on the fairway so they don't embarrass themselves. And these balls help. The only time I've seen a Polara get lost is when someone drove it straight into a bump (and I assure you it went straight) or the wind picked it up and blew it out of bounds. I sincerely think that if the average weekend golfer used this ball, the round would take no more than 5 hours on a Saturday afternoon. When ball spin is under control, I think most people will swing straighter and longer. At least 3 out of 4 in a typical 4 are not gross. If you're struggling with this part, you might want to try the sleeve. Finally; I've found that after using this ball for a few holes, most people will now hit their regular ball better. They gain some confidence in their swing and "play it" instead of holding back because they are afraid of OB bets. Just an observation.
