This part fixes my P0449 trouble code on my 2008 Chevy Impala and for about half the price at major auto parts stores. You need this adapter http://amazon.com/ACDelco-19257603-Equipment-Evaporative-Emissions/dp/B0055B121U/ Without an adapter, you still have to wait a few days for the goods to be shipped. Installing this part is relatively easy, some YouTube videos suggest just removing the canister, but the easiest way is to loosen a screw and replace it. This bolt requires a 10mm socket/socket, it's probably rusty so you can use a PB blaster to help it out. Note: Revain incorrectly states that the adapter will not fit my car, but it obviously does.
