I used this on a 2009 Impala that had a bunch of fuel tank vent codes.

A good AC DELCO part saves you from the stupid "E-vap" code, which means nothing but hassle and expense! Be sure to check if you need an adapter plug, you may need one! ACDelco 19257603 (short cable with old connector and new connector on). I used this on a 2009 Impala that had a bunch of codes to drain the TANK. The part is under the filler neck behind the steering wheel, a little tight, but the job is easy, just a rusty bolt and hose. I used a hose clamp to make sure there isn't a leak where…

Replaces OEM part but requires wire adapters

This part fixes my P0449 trouble code on my 2008 Chevy Impala and for about half the price at major auto parts stores. You need this adapter http://amazon.com/ACDelco-19257603-Equipment-Evaporative-Emissions/dp/B0055B121U/ Without an adapter, you still have to wait a few days for the goods to be shipped. Installing this part is relatively easy, some YouTube videos suggest just removing the canister, but the easiest way is to loosen a screw and replace it. This bolt requires a 10mm…

Also, this YouTube video will show you EXACTLY how to replace it and what tools you need to complete the repair. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wiuS-uhURM .And the…

Check Engine Light - OBD 2 Fault Code P0449

So far so good. My 2007 Impala had a check engine light and OBD 2 error code "P0449". Installing this part seems to have fixed the problem. Please note that you may need a connector harness (adapter) when ordering this part. The connector on this solenoid was different than the one originally installed when I first got the car in 2007. So I couldn't plug it directly into an existing wired jack. I ordered the Revain recommended jumper harness, part number. 19257603 and everything worked. It…
