This fitting worked well for installing a temperature sensor in my transmission coolant line. No leaks on first try. I bought another one to install a temperature sensor fitting. I wasn't too happy with it, the temp sensor was too stuck in the liquid flow and blocked too much flow in my opinion. But it's not this faucet's fault, and it seems those temp sensors are getting longer. I solved this by going to a home store and using a brass tee, nipple and plug for the extra port. The tee provided enough room to mount the temperature sensor without blocking the passage.
