Very good. I bought 2 of these for my 6 year old son's Halloween alien costume this year (a shorter tube on his pants and a longer tube on his shirt). They make a buzzing/buzzing noise. They run on 2 AA batteries and the battery pack is on the larger side to accommodate this. The battery has a clip on the back that can be used to attach it to clothing. I didn't know how to attach the tube to my clothing. At first I tried pinning it with a safety pin, but then I quickly realized that I would need lots of pins to hold everything in place, and I didn't have that many safety pins, and I also found that a lot of pins could make my son uncomfortable. . So I decided to seal it with duct tape. But when I did, I thought that maybe the t-shirt would restrict in some areas around the borders. Then I figured I'd sew it loosely so it could be pulled in and out of the linen seam and it wouldn't be as restrictive. It took me about 3-4 hours to loosely sew just the hems of his pants and shirt (although I'm slow). It doesn't really look bad when the light is on, and the stitching isn't too obvious unless you're really looking for it. After spending all this time sewing the edges I ended up with an extra tube and decided to just tape it to the front of my pants and shirt. I think it turned out pretty well and in the dark both the sewn and glued parts look fine. I didn't cut the phone. Also, the color in my picture doesn't accurately represent the color of a person. It's much prettier and more neon live.
