We installed this filter in a Whirlpool refrigerator and after two months the water just ran out. I reinstalled it in case something got on the line. Nothing hit. After two months the filter was clogged. valve and everything is fine. After reinstalling, the water was still flowing. We ordered and installed a factory hot tub filter and as expected the water flow is fine. Back when that cheap filter clogged the drain valve was noisy, think of the damage it does over time! Why risk it when this cheaper unit is falling apart inside and risk going to a service center because it damaged a hard-to-reach valve? MONEY COUNTING. YOU BUY A GOOD REFRIGERATOR. BUY FACTORY HOT TUB FILTERS. THIS IS YOUR HEALTH IF THIS FILTER IS REMOVED AFTER TWO MONTHS IT WILL BE DEFECTIVE INSIDE. The old hot tub filter lasted over a year, was never changed and never had a problem. I now have a whirlpool filter on my subscription and save every six months.
