This jar started great but only the first filter lasted the 2 months they advertised. As other reviewers have pointed out, every filter after the first one stopped working after a few days. I've tried everything to "clear" the filter, but to no avail. Sometimes the filter starts to work once or twice more, and then stops completely. I went through about 5 filters, none of which worked for more than a few days. Using all the tricks suggested to empty the damn filter is ridiculous, especially at the price of the jug and filters. It goes stale very quickly, and while the water tastes great, it's not worth it.
