The metal plate should have been better designed
These plates are well made but the holes in the plates did not line up with the door holes used to attach the screws. So I made 2 new holes in the panel to match the door, after that the installation was easy. The second issue I had was a metal plate that popped out after installation. I don't know if the original mounting holes in the wooden door are to blame or if the panel could have been better designed to accommodate this. Every time I opened or closed it. Now he looks strong 💪 and won't come out anytime soon. 😁
