I really like these

I've spent far too much time and money trying to make rooms bright enough with the new LED bulbs. The real problem is that the old fan lights had 4 or even 5 bulbs which lit the room very well. The new fan lights only have 2 or 3 bulbs. I've tried everything - color, lumens, watts. Here's what I learned. 3000K is the best color. This is basically the color we used for the old incandescent bulbs. 2700K is yellow, anything over 5000K makes you think aliens are coming to abduct you. Lumens are also important. The luminous flux of an old fan lamp with 5-60 W bulbs was about 4250 lumens. New fan lights come with 2 or 3 bulbs only. Each of these bulbs has 1200 lumens, but 3600 lumens is still not the same as 4250. A two-bulb fixture will put out a maximum of 2400 lumens, which is just over half of what the old fan-equipped fixture produced. I'm afraid the new reality is that if you want good lighting, you simply need more lamps in the room. But for bulbs for a fan lamp, these are the best. They correspond to a 100 watt light bulb. That's the maximum you can get. We didn't use 100 watts in our downlights, but of course our downlights had 4 or 5 bulbs. You should be able to get as many lumens as possible with just 2 or 3 bulbs, and these bulbs are the highest you can get. They are 3000K which is bright but not 51 bright. Note to Luminaire Manufacturers. We don't need enough light to avoid bumping into large pieces of furniture. We need enough light to find the earring on the ground. We need more pears! But as long as you're stuck with just 3 bulbs (or god forbid just 2), these LEDs are really, really good.

Pros
  • 🔥 TIPS: High color rendering index: CRI>85, daylight effect, vivid rendering of real colors. 360° full angle light, provides comfortable lighting without flash lights.
Cons
  • Skimpy Instructions
