Review on πŸ”Š VLIKE Digital Audio Decibel Meter: Sound Level Monitor, Noise Measurement 30-130 dB - MAX Data Hold, A/C Mode by Scott Welch

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well enough for the casual user of common sounds: trains, traffic.

I'm not a professional user just wondering how noisy the city and suburbs are. So take that into account in my review. The level corresponded to the advertised level range in the S-Bahn that I take (middle 70 dB). However, the device claims to have a range of up to 30dB, but I've never gotten it below 37.3dB, even indoors where there's total silence. Other sounds, like traffic and planes flying overhead, sound perfectly reasonable. The mic sleeve fell off and disappeared even after I wrapped it with a rubber band. As far as I can tell, various functions work correctly. The device looks solid and comes with a nylon body and plastic bracket. The instructions are written in broken English.
